Performance comparison of corrugated cardboard and honeycomb cardboard

According to the data: (1) The compressive strength of honeycomb paperboard is much higher than that of corrugated paperboard, and with a certain amount of consumables, the compressive strength of honeycomb paperboard decreases with the increase of the aperture. (2) The lateral compressive strength of honeycomb paperboard decreases with the increase of the aperture; the lateral compressive strength of corrugated paperboard is much higher than that of honeycomb paperboard, while the lateral compressive strength is lower than that of honeycomb paperboard. (3) The bending strength of honeycomb cardboard is higher than that of corrugated cardboard, and its bending strength increases with the increase of the hole diameter. (4) The peel strength of corrugated cardboard is higher than that of honeycomb cardboard; the peel strength of honeycomb cardboard increases with the decrease of the pore size. (5) There is basically no big difference between the puncture strength of honeycomb paperboard and corrugated paperboard. From the above analysis, it can be seen that the development of corrugated paperboard and honeycomb paperboard has reached its limit and the other has struggled. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new world. If corrugated paperboard and honeycomb paperboard are used together, the advantages of corrugated paperboard and honeycomb paperboard can be used, and the lateral compressive strength and flat compressive strength of the composite paperboard can be improved. In addition, when making the packaging box, if the corrugated box is used as the box body, the upper and lower walls of the box are lined with honeycomb cardboard, which can improve the shock resistance, compression resistance, heat preservation, puncture resistance and bearing capacity of the packaging box. Therefore, at this stage, corrugated cardboard and honeycomb cardboard cannot become competitors with each other, but should become partners in cooperation in production and application. Both corrugated cardboard and honeycomb cardboard have their own advantages.
